I shot this while standing in the back of a moving truck. This was one of those happy accidents where you see something and there's no time to plan the shot -you just go for it. Usually, you end up with nothing. In this case, I lucked out. This was taken in Zona 3 in Guatemala City. It's a desolate place where 11,000 people live and work in or near the garbage dump. The children in Zona 3 are highly vulnerable to predators and various other dangers. Things That Go Round and Round
New York Cafe - Manhattan
Kansas City Night
Once again, this was shot right outside of the venue had just finished playing a concert in.
I had been studying what Jay Maisel calls 'gesture' in photography. I thought this image had a little so I snapped it. This was shot in NYC while I was walking around pretending to be a street photographer.
Two Women - Guatemala City, Guatemala
These young ladies were kind enough to allow me to snap a pic of them inside there tortilla store. This was shot in Zona 3 right outside the Guatemala City Dump. It's a desolate place, as you might imagine but the people within are beautiful, and they do what they can to survive and remain hopeful.
